This would be my mood board for a horror film!
The whole purpose of the top row of pictures is to create an eerie sense of loneliness or abandonment. This evokes a sense of foreboding with the very dark and expansive hallways. The bottom row of pictures is to give off tones of sinister intent, death, and mystery. These themes are tied with the pictures of the dark empty rooms because it reminds viewers that although the area might seem abandoned, they are not alone. The color tones are often times monochrome, with accents of red, as to imply the color of blood. The colors and props of the environment are often times very bleak and derelict to enhance the "abandonment" tone.
