    In this blogpost, I will be describing the main character in our upcoming film project. I will analyze character from both a physical and personality perspective.     Physically, our protagonist will be quite average looking in our modern society. They will wear business casual and purposely look bland as a way to seem 'relatable' to the viewers in some fashion. Our protagonist's physical form specializes in being ordinary and not drawing any attention. The purpose behind this is to also give off the idea that nothing special or different is happening in this character's life, when in reality the start of the film is when things in the protagonist's average day will change.      From a personality perspective, it can be easily matched with their physical because it too, is pretty bland.      In this blog, I will be showing you our story board for our Movie Project      Our story board consists of big sketches of scenes that show the mise-en-scene for some settings in the plot. The illustrations consist of actions, character placement and lighting, and camera movements in the scene. Next to the illustration is a detailed description of what's happening, the editing transition to or after, and setting in its respective picture.     In our group, Daniel, Sofia, and I brainstormed the plot of what we would put in the story board. I was tasked with imagining and sketching the scenes onto the story board, in which I would have to find camera placements and organize the mise-en-scene to convey the mood.     Costumes are essential to the mood and feel of a film. In t his blog, I will discuss what our costumes will be for our opening sequence.     Our film is in the horror genre, but it's based in real life. This means that the costuming for our actors will be nothing different from what they usually wear! We only have two characters in this film, so the costuming will be brief and easy.      Our first character is the protagonist. This character is wearing business casual, as if coming back from some white collar job. Plain colors, typically light so that it shows well under light. The idea behind it is that this is another average work day for the protagonist, and they are on the way home from work.      There is a lot more to a film than just taking a video.  In this blog, I will be writing about how we will come about filming our opening scene.       The first aspect of this movie opening is recording it! This task will probably be challenging, as there are so many ways to film a scene to bring out certain moods. We have a good idea of what to use and where to shoot based on our story board that was created for this film. We also have to come up with enough content to have enough footage for just below two minutes. Another challenge is coming up with a time and place for us to meet up and film.     In this blog post, I will illustrate and describe a story board for the famous opening sequence to Star Wars: A New Hope.      Story boarding is an essential process to making and planning out a film. Story boards consist of key frames in the mise-en-scene that depict what the camera can see, and the transitions and editing used in particular scenes. Off to the side or on the pictures are small descriptions of what is happening in the frame and describing any features that aren't obvious in the picture, like placement of props, lighting, audio, etc.     Using a story board is essential for visualizing a film, especially for others to see what you visualize. Sometimes, story boards can be so detailed that directors can watch the film through these sketches before anything is actually recorded. In this blog post, I will describe our concept of a plot for our final project.      Our opening sequence to our film will be set in the horror genre. The main premise of the opening is that the protagonist of the film is being followed by a suspicious character while traveling back home at night.      Most of the film will be recorded from the pursuer's perspective, following the protagonist. There will also be shots that include both characters and their interactions to convey turning points in the plot.      In the beginning, the protagonist enters their vehicle to drive home. As soon as the car leaves, another car in the distance turns on and follows them. They eventually arrive at the protagonist's house and the pursuer manages to sneak in without being noticed. The pursuer manages to catch up with the protagonist with sinister intent until the climax reveals that the pursuer was making a surprise for protagonist's birthday.   ...
