Title Shots in film!

 



The title credit of "Kill Bill" is monochromatic, making it seem mysterious and somber. This ties very well with the genre and the mood of the movie as it is very stylize to look old with the recording like black and white cinema.




The opening credit of "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" heavily emphasizes on comic book style. This effect is created with the use of action lines and visual onomatopoeia. With the style, the opening credits set the mood for an interesting comedy based on geek culture, like comic books and videogames.





The opening credit of "Eternals" is action packed, and the title shot is made to look legendary and exotic. This ties in very well to the movie as the movie itself includes lots of action and amazing visuals.


The opening credits of "Spiderman: Into The Spider-Verse" uses lots of action, vivid colors, and comic book art style. This sets a very energetic and upbeat mood which is maintained throughout the movie.



The title sequence for "The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the ring" is epic, and relies heavily on fantasy. The opening scenes are dramatic and full of turmoil. This conveys viewers into the action packed film.

Fight scenes Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is a very impressive movie, but one of it's most entertaining aspects are its action scenes! The f ight scenes involved many kind of shots, depending on the context , and the story telling from the action. For example, whenever Shang-Chi pulls off an impressive stunt, or is locked in combat with a daunting foe, the movie utilized horizontal arc movement to show how the tide of the fight shifts from one character to another and the choreography involved in the scene. This really helps convey the energy and action in the scene, as everything, including the camera, is moving. Sound Story

       This is our Foley audio clip along with the video of where the sounds came from. The process started off with how we could make a story using the environment around us, which at the time was school. Thus, our story would be a student packing up and walking to a classroom. We created this mostly with noises that come from common objects, like zippers, papers, and pencils to symbolize a school/work environment. We made sure to record very closely with our microphone to capture the best quality of sound in a secluded area to isolate the noise, and to make all the sounds loud so we could lower their volume in post.      The first attempt at editing was difficult because we had to find a decent video and audio software to splice the audio and visuals together, we. Five Shot Video Post

This first shot is an extreme closeup of my partner. I held the camera very close to his face to focus on his eyes throughout the scene. The purpose of this shot is to emphasize the facial features and emotions the person in the video as he acts through the scene (i.e. gradually opening eyes and changing posture) This shot is a low angle shot of a person walking down the stairs. It was slightly difficult trying to capture the angle but it was manageable after a couple times. The purpose behind this shot is to distort size, making the viewer seem smaller than the subject swiftly moving down the stairs, and the subject appears to be moving quicker than they actually are due to the low angle. This is a medium-full shot of a person sitting on a bench. This was relatively easy, as the only obstruction was the glare from the sky.
